Church Planting in the Heart of the Wild
In the remote wilds of Turkana, church planting looks nothing like the usual. There are no walls, no pews—just open land, a handful of people hungry for the Word, and the determination to make space for God. Recently, as we entered a new village, we began by clearing a simple spot under the trees, arranging branches to create a sitting area. That shaded place became our sanctuary.
What was once just a patch of dry ground is now a sacred meeting place—a space where people gather to worship, to listen, and to encounter the living God for the first time. Under the cool shade of the trees, voices rise in song, prayers echo with new hope, and hearts open to the message of Christ. This simple outdoor space has become more than a gathering; it is a doorway to transformation, where the presence of God meets His people in the most humble of settings.

There are still many villages where the Gospel has never been heard and where the first church will be nothing more than a few logs under a tree. Your prayers, partnership, and support help us plant more of these simple yet powerful beginnings—turning empty spaces into places of worship.
“Where two or three are gathered in My name, there I am with them.”
